I am writing to thank each of you for your time and patience during my recent Lasik surgery. Each member of the staff answered my numerous questions in a thorough and forthright manner. I was most impressed hearing that a coworker and my husband were not candidates for the surgery. It's good to know that billing is not the bottom line at NJ Eye Center. Dear Dr. Dello Russo,

It's been six months since my Lasik surgery and I must tell you that I couldn't be happier. I've been wearing eyeglasses since age eleven, and graduated into contact lenses when I was seventeen. I had astigmatism in my left eye and without my glasses or contacts. could hardly see the alarm clock, let alone tell what time it was. I'm 43, and since becoming a police officer in 1990, I would never wear my eyeglasses to work for my fear having them knocked off in a scuffle and not be able to see!

Contacts were the way to go until recently I developed a form of conjunctivitis in both eyes which left a coating on my lenses, making it quite uncomfortable to wear and more difficult to see clearly. In speaking to my eye doctor, he informed me that this was a condition brought on by extended contact lens wear. and could be controlled with drops but would continue to be a chronic condition if I continue to wear my lenses; or be eliminated with Lasik surgery.

I had toyed with the idea of Lasik surgery in recent years, but was unsure of the results since I had no first hand assurances from people that I knew. Gradually and with more frequency, the name Dr. Dello Russo was being heralded to me as the man to see about having Lasik surgery. It seemed that more and more people that I knew and worked with had gone to you and were delighted with the results. The clincher was my partner who said he went home after surgery, broke his eyeglasses, and threw them and all of his contact lenses and solutions in the garbage!

Needless to say, I sought you out, had the surgery,and have not stopped raving about the results to anyone who asks me. The procedure was short and painless, your staff courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the follow-up checkups prompt and detailed. My vision is 20/20 now without glasses or contact, and I am quite comfortable if the need calls for me to get physical with a suspect.

Thanks to you and your staff I will be having the merriest Christmas and happiest New Year in a long time. As a result of the Lasik surgery you performed on December 6th, the next day I could see distant objects with amazing clarity without my glasses.
